Q: What brought you to Houston?

A: I moved here 20 years ago to escape the Soviet regime.

Q: What do you like most about your job/career?

A: There is never a dull moment in law. My job keeps me on my toes, pushes me to my full potential as an intellectual, and provides a great social service to the Houston community.

 

Q: Where do you like to hang out when you are not working?

A: You can usually find me at an art gallery opening.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant and why? 

A: I love seafood, so I will have to go with Pesce. It has a great atmosphere, delicious food and excellent customer service.

A: Colton & Farb gallery

Q: What do you consider an ideal date in Houston?

A: An art opening, followed by dinner and great conversation.

A: Sincerity and maturity.

A: Gregory's in the Galleria.

A: Usually all over town!

A: I paint in my free time.

A: A smile from another person is guaranteed to make me smile in return.

A: Passion for art.

A: Flowers.

A: Mad Men is appealing for its retro style and unique character development. Everything which we now find forbidden is encouraged in these 60's TV series.

Q: If you could go anywhere in the world, where to and why?  

A: If I could take a month off, I would spend it in Italy. The country is a living fairytale, full of great architecture, beautiful scenery, delicious food and friendly people.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

A: I don't look that far ahead, but I'm likely to still be practicing law.
