Houston, Will You Accept This Rose?

Whether real or make-believe, the drama on this season of the Bachelor is at an all time high and the effects are clearly seen all over Jake Pavelka's face.  Where in the world did they find these girls?!  I guess they didn't make everyone take the psych tests this year because it is very clear that most of these ladies would have failed miserably!

And my favorite crazy-lady was finally sent packing in one of the most awkward departures to date.  Michelle first asks Jake for a kiss, which he painfully agrees to.  Then she proclaims, 'Is that all you've got?!  You've gotta give me more than that!'  He just stares at her, at a loss for words, when she offers that she should just leave.  Jake looks excited for the first time this week and says, yes please!  Then Michelle reacts in shock because she thought he would at least try and fight for her to be there.  No such luck, Michelle.  She is appearing on the Ellen Degeneres Show to tell her side Wednesday, January 20th.  That might actually be worth tuning in to!

Also, I was pretty shocked when I read that Tenley would tell Jake she was pregnant this week.  Of course, little Miss Disney made no such announcement, but I wanted to find out where that even came from, so here you have it:

So, they managed to turn sweet Tenley into the top of gossip across the internet and then not even address it on the show.  I guess I'm not surprised.

Also not a shocker that the claws came out this season and the subject of all the house drama is Vienna.  Jake finally gets a glimpse of how the other girls feel about her at the comedy show when Corrie makes fun of all the ladies in the house.  (side note: I'm sure Corrie is about to get cut because we don't know much about her, but I really like her.  She funny and dresses great!)  After the comedy show, the girls all take time to let Jake know that they can't stand Vienna and Ali especially stands her ground.  Ali appears all sweet and golden-girl-next-door, but I'd say from her reaction to Vienna that one would want to stay on her good side.  Oh yeah, Vienna got the first one-on-one date with Jake and they took off in a helicopter that led them to bungee jumping.  We learned that Jake is scared of heights... yep, a pilot that is scared of heights.  Jake and Vienna got along surprisingly well and she came home with a rose... and proceeded to tell the other girls ALL about it.  Call me crazy, but maybe that's one of the reasons they can't stand her.

Ella gets the other one-on-one date to Sea World (the date I heard they actually planned for Roslyn before she got cut!) and they surprise her by bringing her son in town.  Of course Jake gives her a rose because he would look like the biggest jerk if he cut her right after meeting her son, but rumor is that she is gone next week.

She'll be joining Elizabeth and Valishia (Who??  Oh, she's the brunette that we would occasionally see on group dates, but rarely heard from her until her departure comments and tears... 'I'm use to things not going my way' she says as tears stream down her face... ah poor thing.  Why do they do this to people!?).  Jake writes a blog for People.com and had this to say about why he cut Elizabeth (hot Nanny), "Ladies, please remember: Rules to Successful Dating, 101 — Don't play games! Especially when time is very limited. I got upset, she got upset. Not a good start to a relationship."

Jake looks beat down and tired the entire episode and promises that next week will be 'so much fun' for the girls remaining.  I don't know about all that, but I'll for sure be watching!  Cheers 'til then!
