The Emmy® Awards may not air until Sunday but that doesn’t mean the celebs have to wait to celebrate! LA Confidential’s  Emmy® Party (hosted by the Kardashians who graced the cover this month) was the place to be in Los Angeles this Wednesday. Who doesn’t love mingling with chic Angelenos  while watching a beautiful sunset on the top of The London Hotel in West Hollywood? Kim and Kourtney Kardashian swooped in with their entourage and everyone couldn’t keep their eyes off of them. Ladies be honest with yourself, love or hate them, we all know we have contributed to making  Keeping Up With the Kardashians E!’s top rated reality show of all time. ;) Kim is absolutely stunning in person and very petite. Makes me thankful I don’t have cameras following me around! (View my event snapshots below).

The Fashion Group International in Los Angeles hosted a fabulous sangrialicious soiree on Wednesday, July 21st at the JW Marriott in downtown Los Angeles. I’ve been dying to check out this hotel since it’s the new hot spot in downtown (and being connected to the Ritz-Carlton isn’t too shabby either…). We were greeted by complimentary Sangria and a fashion forward LA crowd at the “Heat Up The Middle of Summer” networking event. The views of downtown were amazing and if you haven’t been to LA Live yet, I highly recommend you check it out. There are so many fab restaurants to choose from too, Wolfgang Puck, Katsuya, Flemings, Rosa Mexicano, and many more. Being downtown always makes me feel like I’m out of town!

Between the model walking around with all her designer duds being raffled off and the humming of convos across the patio, I was in fashion heaven.

The weather in Los Angeles is heating up and summer vacas are finally here! Unfortunately, this can only mean one thing, where in the world am I going to find the perfect bathing suit?! If you’re anything like me you dread the search because you usually fall in love with the gorgeous teal string bikini, only to be disappointed by how little the suit does for our ‘ladies’ up top. Well, my search is officially over…and now so is yours.

I was watching “The Bachelorette” the other day on ABC (you know you do too…red Ferrari, private pool sesh at Aria in Las Vegas, darling hot pink bikini…) and I started to wonder what brand was Ali Fedotowsky wearing? She looks like all her bathing suits fit her like a glove and I just assumed they are probably custom made. Well, to my surprise I found out that Ali has been wearing Voda’s Envy Push Up swimsuits the whole time! A girl’s night out on the town is always a guaranteed good time, but what if there was a way to make it seem even more special? My girlfriends and I attended The 2nd Annual Spring Bash at the posh Luxe Hotel in Bel Air, here in sunny California. Jessica Brende (a dear friend of mine and RSVP Social's Nicole Brende's "cousin in law") and 17 other top Los Angeles Interior Designers were honored for their charitable work on the Upward Bound House project. This is an amazing organization that focuses on eliminating homelessness among families with children in Los Angeles by providing housing, supportive services, and advocacy. (It’s the laid back version of Robertson for the more beachy folks...)  I met with the owner of Lavish Tan, Kesley Jones, to find out how to capture that “just spent the day at the beach” look. Every girl’s dream is to get the golden ticket into a private after hours fashion show at LA’s hottest fashion store and I got to do just that. Sjobeck (pronounced Sho-beck) Malibu previewed their Fall 2010 collection during Los Angeles Fashion Week at the Fred Segal TREND store in Santa Monica. With fabulous beats and a Sjobeck Rumtini in hand I couldn’t get enough of all the fashion and even got to meet one of the designers herself, Lani Lupton. She looked stunning in a flowy white dress with a subtle slit to help transition a normal day time maxi into a sexy sophisticated dress. And it looked super comfortable to boot! The other designers including Shelly Sjobeck were JesseRay Vasquez and Garrett Gerson,

The fashion show felt like I was in the middle of an ‘America’s Next Top Model’ competition, with the models perched up on the boxes like angelic mannequins. No question here, Tyra would have been proud. The hello kitty trend is being resurfaced by the hot new band, Nylon Pink. Kat and Kaila may look alternative but they couldn’t be more down to earth. Next up, the gorgeous couple of the evening, Kyle Carlson and TV & Radio personality Jessica Hall (Kendra). She stunned the crowd in her body hugging blue number. It’s no wonder why Hugh made her the Cybergirl for Playboy. Phoebe Price was the epitome of spring with her flowery Catherine Malandrino dress. She accessorized it up with a sparkly flower ring and feather head piece, both from her own line. Frankie Needles popped by to show us all that being cool is really as easy as donning a pair of sunglasses and a fabulous smile. Thanks again to Kelly Howard from Kip Morrison, she really knows how to throw a fab party. That’s it for me today.
